Samsung Wallet continues to evolve as an integrated hub for finance and digital identity. To that end, the company unveiled at its Unpacked event earlier this week that it's bringing stablecoin support for Samsung Wallet.
With this integration, Samsung will become one of the first major mobile manufacturers to support native stable coins on a mobile device.
Details to follow
It was confirmed by Samsung product specialist Lee Dinham at Unpacked in London that stablecoin support is coming to Samsung Wallet. Dinham added that this would enable fast and trusted digital value transfers on Samsung's mobile devices.
The company envisions Samsung Wallet as a connected financial ecosystem across Galaxy devices, covering everything from rewards to mobile payments, digital assets, and digital ID.
Details are limited at the moment. Samsung hasn't confirmed which stablecoins it will support, which partners will support it, and when the feature is actually going to be rolled out. It's also unclear which blockchain networks the feature will support and which regions it will be available in.
Samsung Wallet's crypto capabilities are gradually being expanded. Samsung announced a partnership with Coinbase back in October 2025 through which it now allows Galaxy device owners in the United States to buy cryptocurrencies directly through Samsung Wallet.
